Sometimes, we need to step into someone else’s shoes to understand ourselves. That exercise is roleplay.

That is the view of Jonas Begtrup-Hansen, who has a background in philosophy of education, runs the game company Folkin, and is the author of several books on roleplay.

It is also the view of Andreas Bach Steinicke, who draws on drama education and develops roleplay as a tool for professional reflection and teaching.

Both have played roleplaying games for most of their lives. In the podcast, they explore the worlds of roleplay and education to investigate how roleplay can be used in professional practice.
